 Name: Gondorian Archivist Race: Men (Gondorian) Actor: Michael Elsworth Appears in: FotR Movie Bio: A Gondorian archivist in Minas Tirith who led Gandalf the Grey to where the historical records were kept when he was seacrhing for answers regarding the ring in Frodo's possession. Equipment: Torch/Lamps/Candles  The better to lead strays, to navigate and light the musty dusty corridors of the archival rooms. Books/Scrolls  Forged by many trees, glue, thread, hands and ink blots. They come in many sizes, thickness and shape. They were catelogued and stored in dark rooms. They held records and journals of the whimsical frailties of men so that their descendents would have the excuse to have inflated vanities and swollen heads to roll back the clock. And unfortunately to beguile a cantankerous old wizard who mucked up the place because he never heard of the rule "No eating and drinking in the library". (I think we were slapped with this prohibition because of Gandalf. Such a pity) |
