 Name: Boromir Race: Man (Gondorian) Actor: Sean Bean Appears in: FotR, TTT, RotK Movie Bio: The son of Denethor, Steward of Gondor, Boromir set out from Minas Tirith to Rivendell for answers to a prophetic dream which he had. Upon arrival, he learned of Isildur's bane, the One Ring, and volunteered to accompany Frodo the Ringbearer on his quest. Unfortunately, the valiant son of Gondor was bewitched by the powers of the Ring, and he tried to take it by force. Realising his mistake, he sought to redeem himself by protecting the hobbits Merry and Pippin from an Uruk-Hai ambush. Sadly, the hobbits were taken as captives and Boromir was left to die in the hands of the Uruk-Hai Lurtz. But he was forgiven and redeemed by his actions in his dying moments. So ends the tale of Boromir son of Denethor.
