 Name: Farmer Maggot Race: Hobbit Actor: Cameron Rhodes Appears in: FotR Movie Bio: Farmer Maggot makes two appearances in The Fellowship of the Ring. 1. Merry and Pippin raid Farmer Maggot’s crops – for the umpteenth time – and he chases them through his fields, waving his scythe in the air. Eventually, he drives them into his corn-fields, where they bump into Frodo and Sam, who are leaving the Shire. Thus, in the Movie-Universe, Farmer Maggot is responsible for the presence of 2 of the Hobbits in the Fellowship. 2. When the Nazgűl act on the information extracted out of Gollum (Shire... Baggins...), one of the Ringwraiths goes in search of the Ring and ends up meeting Farmer Maggot and his dog outside their Hobbit Hole (and scaring the living daylights out of them). Equipment: Dog  A Rottweiler that leaves much to be desired in the way of courage. Scythe  Handy for working the fields, and trying to scare naughty little thieving Hobbits.
