Welcome to the Council-of-Elrond Live Chat.

The rules of the Council-of-Elrond apply in the chat room. Keep the room at PG level, please. The room is moderated. The chat operators (moderators) will have a . or a @ in front of their nickname. They are there to help you.

If you cause trouble in the room, you may be kicked or banned. Please limit the use of scripts. If any channel operator gives you a directive (such as asking you to disable scripts) you must listen to them. Channel operators have the last word.

If you already have mIRC installed on your computer, all you have to do is click the buttons on the left with the room you want to go into. This button will automatically load mIRC for you and put you in our room.

If you wish to set this up manually, the server is irc.darkfire.net; the port is 7000; the room is #imladris or #muggle-informer.

If you don't have mIRC, you can download it by clicking the button that says "mIRC"

You can also access the chat room with our Java Applet. This is convenient for people that can't download programs onto school and work computers. Click the Java button to load it.
