I have no idea cause I don't know when he'll be around...
In other news:
My parents are going away for the weekend

THis means we should DEFINITELY have it up at mine cause then we can have the sound up and stay up all night

Bad news is that I spoke to J and she says she won't be able to make it if it's at mine, but is good to come up about any weeknight, so if we end up having a weeknight meet to see Moggy we can count on J being there, and I'll be meeting up with her one evening anyway. (as she cannot make it to my farewell party either).

Is everyone else all good with coming up to mine?

Sounds good. Get away from the temporary flatmates. In all seriousness, can any men reading this tell me why it seems so hard for males to put the toilet seat down and clean up after their damn selves?
(Now don't get offended, guys, it's just that if I'm going to be living in anyone's filth, I'd much prefer it to be my own

)

Oh, and the best night for a weekday meet for me is Wednesday

Although I've had very little time at home all week so I'd rather not be out for the entire weekend. I can drive, though (at least I think so) so that means I don't have to rely on train times etc.

So with that in mind... what time shall we begin?

As far as weeknight meets go, that's going to be tough. Monday or Thursday nights are the only ones I'm actually free for, and I've already half-committed myself to stuff on both those nights...

Well I'm going horse riding in the morning, but after that I was thinking of driving up as far as Myl's place and leaving my car there (if she doesn't mind of course) and catching a lift if people are driving, or accompanying someone on the train, either or.

Monday, maybe Thursday and Friday nights are best for me. I'm working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, so you should probably count thursday out, I don't think I'll have enough time to get down there at a reasonable hour.

That's fine, Ren, for you to leave your car at my place. Delph, you can too if you want - I can definitely drive, but what time does everyone else want to come home on Sunday?... I don't want to ruin everyone's fun if you're all coming back with me and I want to go earlier than you.

And so what time are we thinking Saturday, then? Leaving my place... 3? Probably will get us to Xy's by 4:30?

How does that sound? Really I just picked a number out of the air.

Xy, want us to bring anything? Any DVDs we have that you don't, but want to watch? Food/drink supplies?

Yeah I am in Sydney at the moment, fresh from cruising up the harbour in a big boat.

Course I will end up all lost and confused and probably end up on a park bench tonight.

There is a whole thread on my adventures at KD if anyone wants to read them. I am hoping to stay in Sydney for a while so if you all want to meet up tonight or tomorrow or whatever then let me know!!

So...

What: ROTK DVD Meet

Where: My place

When: Friday 28th May until...until the food runs out or you get sick of me. I'm actually running a book on this very thing and will be removing most of the food from the house to even up the odds a bit.

I'll be finishing work at 4:30 that afternoon and will be happy to meet up with people to bus it home.

Why: Good question.

No-one has any strong objections to beef, do they? Speak now or don't eat later.

I think that's about it.

I'm driving, so I can pick people up along the way, I'm not driving anywhere near the city at that time on a Friday afternoon

I'm not intending to buy the ROTK DVD, since it doesn't have an Extended preview on it and I have a perfectly good crebain to tide me over. But if you want to rent it, I suggest you book it well ahead 'cause it may be popular on the first Friday night of it's release

Okay, I'm far too lazy to sms you all about this so I thought I'd post, on the 17th and 18th of July it looks as though I will be staying in Darling Harbour, on one of those days I'm going to be at the Pharmacy Trade Fair, but on the other, I will be completely free. So I was thinking maybe we could meet up or do something on one of those two days. Any takers?

I noticed there's some sort of free concert by that ABBA knock off group (Bjorn Again, I think) on the 17th. It's at the Aquashell, no idea where that is except Cockle Bay. Well, the sign said 'free'. There's probably a cover charge or something.
