I know that the filming of his new movie "300" has ended in January. A few weeks ago he has played Vincent van Gogh on a festival in Adelaide.

 Thanks for the news on David. Like julamb, I also knew he'd been doing theatre work, but nothing I could post about here in his thread. Good to see the Faramir/David thread alive and reasonably well again as a matter of fact.

David's new project: he is filming with Johnny Depp a big budget gangster movie, called 'Public enemies'. I am looking forward to this movie, which will be released in 2009.

I should like in on this thread! I have always admired Faramir ever since I heard the LOTR series for the first time as a child of 6 yrs.
Since then I have read/heard the books read at least 10 times. Now, I admire him from afar, and also think he is a brilliant, handsome gent.  Someday I shall marry a man like him! The movie rendition of Faramir btw. was exactly like I have always imagined him.I must say

Faramir!! Oh my goodness!! Out of all my favorite LoTR characters Faramir has a super special place in my heart! So I think I'll join you guys here on the Fandom thread for awhile!  I've seen quite a few movies with David in them....(well actually only... counts on fingers four that I know of....there's probably been more!) I think my favorite movie that I've seen him in besides LoTR was VanHelsing!  My mom loves him in that movie! Hi Tigger!! Nice to see you again!

You do know David's in Moulin Rouge right? Not for very long, but he's there. He's the original writer of the show the group that Ewan MacGregor's character Christian ends up joining, was trying to sell to Sidler. Reason why you might not know he's there...He's in Drag complete w/makeup!!
