A Branch of Lindir - Up above the Bar

Welcome everyone!

I started this thread so anyone who wants to prattle idly and keep up with friends without disturbing some of the more distinguished patrons of the Bar.

Anyway, as far as I know - that is unless Elwen, Cully or another mod say otherwise - we are still a part of the Bar, but we are [obviously] detached, if that makes any sense.

Let the idle prattle begin!

*carries over un-named & un-known drink from bar* Hallo Thurin. Thought I would pop in, but I can't stay this evening. But I will claim a seat by the pool under the tree here ^^

Hullo Suko. That's alright, I can't stay tonight either. I have a 13 hour car-ride in the morning. Fun

Elladan: I think we'll hang up in the tree here and at the bar. Does that make any sense?

Oh boy, I get to go on a 13 hour car ride today.

Fair enough, I figured if I ever really wanted to venture up, there would be more than enough help, but I hardly see the point until Haldril has found someone to push into the pool. Otherwise I would just be back where I started, and wet to boot! Especially considering I'm practically begging for an impromtu dip, picking on him like this.

I do no t pick on short people, Suko! As a matter of fact, I am rather short for an Elf.

I would like to state that anyone who specifically says they do not want a dip in the pool will be protected against such an offence. Especially from Haldril. lol

Ah, but it was Haldril, that said all who could climb the tree were welcome. I specifically remember you extending the invitation down to those who could shout loud enough

Ah, so that is why I have not wound up with the fishes yet. A good rule indeed, although one that is far more important in dealing with actual bodies of water, rather than virtual ones. That said, and I know it will take all of about .01 seconds for this offer to be taken up, if I deserve a dip, by all means ^_^

Very good then. I see it did capture an Orc earlier. Magical trees are indeed quite wonderful, and probably that fact is what protects it from those Winged Balrogs being drunk in it's branches.

And Thurin, since you back online, I would imagine the car ride did not kill you. Although those long treks can be trying. Glad you had a safe trip.

Ah, but it almost did kill me. Riding in the car with my little brother is enough to make you want to rip your hair out.

I used to be a tree climbing girl when I was younger - sat in my apple tree for hours on end, sometimes....

With all those helpful elves and Lindir being such a graceful tree herself, I am simply too tempted.... Takes Elrohir's hand
