same here swift the problem is though I am going on a week long riding holiday in six weeks
 , lucky it is western not english

AHHHHHHHHHHHHH! I am in HUGE WITHDRAWL! I have not ridden a horse in over a year and it is absolutly KILLING ME! There is nothing in this world I love more but with my last year in high school and getting ready for college - and the fact that I don't own a horse
 - I haven't been able to ride. I miss it soooo much!

I know how it feels, the past 3 years I didn't ride, but untill recently and it felt so good!!! My addiction is back...and I like it!!!

wow holiday was good painful but good and guess who we were staying with a tv director who has done casualty and the bill the manerger and his wife of ascot race course and the director of the born free charity AND I got a years free membership whoot

the tips and tricks on horse riding
1) relax! the horses can tell when you are stressed/worried/scared 2) have fun thats what it is all about 3) listen it will help lol 4) don't over do it hope that helps

Wow I forgot I had even made this post. I am half way through my second year at Reaseheath but I am on the National Certificate because it means I no longer have to ride if I dont want to. Sadly we dont have any Friesians at the college any more. Casper got taken back by his owner and Gronow went back to his riding school. My tutors are amazing at college even if they do get a little ratty at times. My course manager Caroline practises and teaches Reiki (dunno if any of you guys have tried it) and I am on my level two which means I can use it to treat horses and humans and it is fantastic! I have had several sessions myself and it is the most unusual/special experience ever I would recommend it to anyone who is interested. I still dont have my own horse and at the moment that suits me just fine as I have thirty at college which I can fuss over until I can afford my own he he. In the fufture I hope to have my own therapy yard and my own horse. I also work on a racing yard which is very cool and so fun because they have yearlings and foals and during Easter some of the mares are due to foal which is so exciting! For any of you that have heard of him they bred Forest Gunner. Talk soon Ally xXx
